Overview
The Psychojelly Creative Tech Grant Map ("the Site") helps artists discover grants, residencies, and events. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
- Account information — If you sign up, we store your email address and display name via Supabase authentication (email/password or Google OAuth).
- Favorites & notifications — When you favorite a grant or subscribe to deadline reminders, we store those preferences linked to your account.
- Comments — Comments you post (name, email if signed in, and comment text) are stored for moderation and display.
- Grant submissions — If you submit a grant, we store the information you provide (program name, type, URL, organizer, etc.) along with your email.
- Analytics data — If you accept cookies, Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data (pages visited, browser type, approximate location). No analytics data is collected if you decline cookies.
Google Analytics & Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used. Analytics scripts are only loaded after you explicitly accept cookies via the consent banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no tracking occurs.
You can change your cookie preference at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer of any page. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.
Notification Emails
When you subscribe to deadline reminders for a grant, we send you email notifications as the deadline approaches. These emails are sent via Resend.
Every notification email includes an unsubscribe link that immediately removes that specific reminder. You can also remove notifications by clicking the bell icon again on any grant's detail panel.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide the core service — displaying grants, saving favorites, and sending deadline reminders.
- To moderate submissions and comments.
- To improve the Site based on aggregated, anonymized analytics (only with your consent).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
- Supabase — Database and authentication. Your account data and grant data are stored on Supabase's infrastructure.
- Google Analytics — Usage analytics (only if you accept cookies).
- Resend — Transactional email delivery for deadline reminders and admin alerts.
- Vercel — Hosting and serverless functions.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your account data, favorites, and notification preferences are retained as long as your account exists. Comments and grant submissions are retained as long as they remain relevant to the Site.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by opening the Help menu (the "?" button) on the main site while signed in and clicking "Delete My Account & Data". This is immediate and permanent.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of analytics tracking (via the cookie consent banner)
- Unsubscribe from notification emails (via the link in each email)
